Hi,
Do I rewrite this sentence correctly?
"It was too late that nothing could be done"
1. It was too late for anything vĩ đại be done.
2. It was too late that anything couldn't be done.
3. It was too late vĩ đại tự anything.
Thanks.
I'm a bit confused.

"It was too late that nothing could be done" is grammatically incorrect.
#1 and #3 are correct: too late for... or too late vĩ đại....
Your sentence in bold is not correct.
Instead, you would use so with that:
it was ví late that nothing could be done.
that anything couldn't...

is not right, but I'm not sure why not.I am sorry. I write incorrectly.
It was ví late that nothing could be done.
In sentence (2) is it right if I change "too" vĩ đại "so"?
"It was ví late that anything could not be done."

No; as I mentioned in post 3, anything couldn't (could not) just doesn't sound right. It would work in the active voice:
It was ví late that they could not tự anything (whoever "they" might be)
but it just sounds wrong in the passive, and I hope someone will be able vĩ đại tell both of us why.
